Welcome to the Software Engineering (SWE) ProgramI would like to welcome you to the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering and invite you to consider the programs that we currently offer in the School of Computing and Software Engineering. We offer graduate MSSWE and undergraduate BSSWE degrees. We are the only state institution offering these software engineering degrees in the state of Georgia. Both of these degree programs are designed to prepare software practitioners focused on the engineering of software systems, that is, those systems that meet specified requirements, that are built with industrial quality standards, and that are within cost and schedule requirements. Note: We recently made some significant revisions to our MSSWE program. Information about the new program is available here The primary mission of the SWE program is the education of highly qualified Software Engineering professionals. We believe our dedicated faculty and staff, outstanding student body, and excellent facilities allow us to achieve our mission and prepare our students for successful careers. In addition to the BSSWE and MSSWE, we offer a Graduate Certificate in Software Engineering for those interested in increasing their knowledge of engineering software by taking graduate level courses, but without the commitment required for completing a graduate degree.
